The Comedy School Charitable Trust is a registered charity (no. 1120951) using comedy as a tool to advance education and training in social, life skills and responsible citizenship. This unique organisation has had significant success working with schools in areas affected by gang culture and knife crime and in offender rehabilitation and personal development in the mental health setting.

Fundraising is a critical part of keeping the Charity alive and able to deliver its work in the community, especially in tough economic times, where public funding is being significantly reduced. Money raised through the regular donation scheme will contribute to both community projects -

For example, ‘It’s no Joke’, a fast paced high energy play performed in schools, that uses comedy to address the issues of anti-social behaviour and weapons related crime-

and core costs -

The Comedy School is administered by 1 full-time and 2 part-time staff members, who undertake all activities with support of a network of volunteers.

In keeping with the purpose of the Comedy School, we wouldn't expect you to donate without getting a giggle or two in return, so depending upon your level of contribution, there are a range of associated benefits dependent upon the level of your donation.

Direct Debits

On the next page you may complete online your mandate for your monthly Direct Debit from your bank account via our secure GoCardless.com account.

You may cancel your Direct Debit at any time. We do request that you contribute for a minimum of 3 months to receive your full benefits.

Tax Relief

We will contact you with details about reclaiming income tax as Gift Aid donations on all qualifying gifts of money made.
