Unlike other comedy writing courses, this is presented by one of the most successful comedy writers on the planet.
The densely-packed intense 2 day masterclass covers:
There will be a practical session on Day 2, writing topical material for a sketch show which will be performed by professional comedians and recorded in front of a live audience, followed by a debriefing session with Rob, where you'll have the opportunity to analyse your work, and discuss how to improve it.
From sketches to sitcoms to blogs, from radio to TV to Movies: these skills and techniques apply to all forms of comedy writing.
Students will be encouraged to submit a small sample of their work. Details upon booking.
This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the legends of Comedy writing.
Only a few places remaining.

Co-creater of the international smash hit science-fiction comedy series, Red Dwarf, Rob began his comedy writing career in radio, writing for 'just about every living comedian', and generating sitcoms and sketch shows, including the Sony Award-winning Son Of Cliché before moving into television.
He worked on the multiple award-winning series Three of A Kind and Carrott's Lib, then headed up the writing team on Spitting Image.
Since Red Dwarf, Grant has created, written and produced The Strangerers for SKY, and Dark Ages for ITV, and written four international bestselling novels, including Incompetence and his latest Fat.
Aside from his career as writer, producer and director, he has recently taken up the mike on the stand-up comedy circuit with his wryly observed take on life. Or, more accurately, barely-contained fury.
