"A+++++++ as they say on Ebay!"

Kevin Chapman, RADA Corporate Enterprises

This is a Learning Thru Laughter workshop - Communication & Personal Impact Skills for Individuals, Teams & Organisations

A well judged injection of comedy into any situation can provide light relief or, with some careful planning, a thought-provoking alternative view to serious matters. Comedy is a great medium for communication - when you are laughing you're listening, and when you're listening you're learning.

What techniques do comedians use to establish immediate rapport with their audiences? Why are these techniques so effective and how can they be used in business situations? And how can we tell stories that move and engage our audience? We'll explore authenticity and personas, and examine the assumptions about one another. We'll also look at issues that can hinder us from presenting effectively and demystify some common fears.

What will you get from this event?

  • Increased confidence

  • Awareness of how you come across to others

  • Strategies for dealing with your challenges in communication

  • Tools and tips for authentic and powerful communication

  • Tools to help you deliver difficult messages and become a master story teller

[The recommended minimum age for this class is 16. If anyone under 16 would like to attend, we are happy to assess this on an individual basis; please contact us before booking.]
