Are you curious or interested in puppets and what they could bring to your work be it, performance, comedy, storytelling, therapeutic?

Puppets are a fantastic vehicle for discovery and play.

This taster course for total beginners will assist you in discovering the core skills needed to bring puppets and objects to life with movement and emotion.

The session will include learning about puppet life, breath and focus.
A fun and informative introduction to the art of puppetry led by Corina Bona.

[The recommended minimum age for this course is 16. If anyone under 16 would like to attend, we are happy to assess this on an individual basis; please contact us before booking.]

CORINA BONA Is a Bristol based puppeteer, puppet maker and workshop facilitator.

After training as a designer at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school she discovered her passion for making puppets and bringing them to life. For the past 8 years she has dedicated herself to Puppetry and its different practices.

From Glove/Rod Puppetry to Bunraku, puppets are a wonderful addition to stagecraft and performance that delights and captures audiences. They are an incredible tool for building character, voice, focus, team work and confidence in performers.

Corina has worked alongside professional theatre companies like; The Little Angel, Green Ginger, Pickled Image, The Bristol Old Vic Theatre school, Soap Soup. She has also delivered workshops for a diverse range of young people.


Booking Conditions

• A full refund (less £6 adminstration charge) is available up to two weeks before the date of the course. There are no refunds available after that.

• Your place will be booked on receipt of payment and you will be sent a receipt / confirmation.
