Bill Dare is the producer of various popular (mainly comedy) programmes for the BBC, including The Mary Whitehouse Experience, Spitting Image, Dead Ringers, The Now Show and The Late Edition.

His writing is less well known but also noteworthy. He wrote and appeared in his own Radio 4 sketch show, Life Death and Sex with Mike and Sue which ran for five series.

More recently he has emerged as a more serious writer. His first novel, Natural Selection is published in the UK and USA, and his first stage play, Touch, was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007.

As BBC's Script Executive of TV & Radio Entertainment he has been the point of contact for script development.
